Finished in stunning Deep Impact Blue Metallic over Ceramic leather, this is one of those color combinations that absolutely makes the car. The deep metallic blue changes dramatically with the light, while the contrasting Ceramic interior gives the Mustang a much richer and more distinctive appearance than the typical dark-interior GT. The 2015 model year was an important one for Mustang, introducing the completely redesigned S550 generation and its independent rear suspension. Under the hood, the GT received an updated 5.0-liter Coyote V8 producing 435 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, and this one is paired with the enthusiast's choice—a 6-speed manual transmission. This GT Premium was also very nicely optioned when new. With only 10,800 miles, the condition is exceptional. The Deep Impact Blue paint has tremendous depth and gloss, the body is beautifully straight, and the factory wheels remain remarkably clean. This is also an unusually original-looking 5.0 Mustang—something that becomes increasingly important considering how many of these cars were modified, tuned or heavily driven when new. The Ceramic leather interior may be even more impressive. Light-colored interiors are rarely forgiving, yet the driver's seat, bolsters, passenger seat and rear seating remain beautiful. The steering wheel, aluminum-trimmed shifter, console, carpeting, pedals, dash and switchgear all reflect the extremely low mileage. Under the hood, the story continues with an exceptionally clean and stock-appearing engine compartment, including the original air intake and factory 5.0-liter engine dress. The underside is equally impressive, retaining factory finishes, labels and markings throughout with only the minor natural aging you would expect after more than a decade. Nothing has been cosmetically covered up or refinished underneath to manufacture the appearance of a low-mile car—the preservation speaks for itself. The car also retains its original window sticker, Ford owner's materials and both factory intelligent-access keys, adding another important layer to an already outstanding example. The first-year S550 Mustang represented one of the largest evolutionary steps in Mustang history. Ford combined the unmistakable long-hood, short-deck Mustang character with a substantially more sophisticated chassis and, for the first time on a mainstream Mustang, an integral-link independent rear suspension. There are certainly plenty of 2015 Mustang GTs available.
